An insight on your profession/business?

I am working as a Recruiter with an HR Consulting firm. What we have to do is to provide relevant candidates to different organizations according to the requirements of the job. We offer our services to different national and multinational companies. It sounds quite easy but in reality it’s quite a bitter pill to swallow.

We have to maintain good relationships with both, clients and candidates, for a better image; it takes less than a minute to destroy one’s reputation in the market if one doesn’t fulfill client’s requirements within the deadline, so you have to be very careful when it comes to the time management skills.

How long have you been in this profession/running this business?

I have been associated with this profession for about 1 and a half year.

What has been your vision and what do you most love about your job/business?

One thing I love about my job is no matter how old you are or from where you belong, people recognize you, they are willing to make good relationships with you. It feels great when people older than you say ‘Thank you for your efforts’.

What do you think is your biggest achievement throughout your professional/entrepreneurial journey along with one BIG challenge?

I don’t think I have made any BIG achievements as of yet since it’s just the start of my professional life, but I do think that the opportunity to work with some of the most intellectual ones of this field, for whom every business graduate dreams to get a chance to work with, at a very young age is my biggest achievement.

What are your current projects and plans in the near future
I am working on a few recruitment projects with my seniors. I am also planning to start my own HR consulting firm soon after my graduation.

A word of advice you would like to pass on to working professionals who wish to pursue their careers or work on their startup ideas.

Once I read a quote and got inspired. It said ’10 years from now, your kids will be eating or starving from the decisions you have made today’, so make decisions for the betterment of your future, there will be more than one life associated with you, they will also be influenced by the decisions you are about to make. Have faith in Allah.
