Shehzadi Zeb of Hey Beauty bae
About Me:
My name is Shehzadi Zeb, i’m 19 and I am a beauty/fashion and lifestyle blogger by night and a full time student by day.
Your city:
I am from lovely city of flowers and hospitality, Peshawar.
What drives you?
It started out as a hobby because I have always been the go-to person of the family for makeup and/or any type of beauty or fashion query. So the interest always kept growing leading me to get online and create my blog “HeyBeautyBae” one fine day!
How did you get here and how long have you been in this profession (or been doing what you do)?
It’s been almost over an year of me blogging and it couldn’t have been better. The main reason I am where I am right now are my blogging peers, some very lovely seniors such as Jadirah from JCB and Sana from Makeupholics. Can’t thank them enough.
What has been your vision and what do you most love about your work?
Vision has always been originality and quality over quantity. The one thing I love about blogging is the community support of a few genuine friends and having to interact with some amazing national and international brands.
There is a certain bonding spirit what infatuates you with the online capacity.
What do you think is your biggest achievement throughout your professional journey?
That would be definitely the time I got my first international collaboration in the 4th month of my blogging. It was a surreal moment and that opened the door for so many other international brands to come forward.
What are your current projects and what do you plan on doing in the near future?
I am currently working with quite a few amazing international makeup brands including W7 makeup, Purito, Skin18. And some fashion brands including Coconut Lane, Romwe and Born Pretty store and quite a few national brands.
Future plans are very bright, Alhmadulilah. I have been approached by some very cool brands of interest which i’ll definitely consider after my exams are done.
A word of advice you would like to pass on to other women struggling with their start-ups?
Just do it! Literally if you want to blog or want to start a fashion line or a cosmetic line, just go forward with it. You have the potential, you have the initiative, just execute it because who runs the world? Girls!
Coming from a 19 year old, it might be a mouthful but if something scares and excites you at the same time, you got to take the plunge and magic will happen!
